Stem Cell Research: The Issue

Stephen Cuff suffers from Parkinson's Disease. The video describes the causes and effects of Parkinson's. Stephen's treatment is to include the implantation of electrodes into his brain that can be used to control his tremors.

A potential future cure for parkinson's disease is embryonic stem cell therapy. The concept of stem cell therapy and the science behind them is introduced. The video also presents opinions about ethics, pros and cons of stem cell research. It can be used to stimulate debate about the applications and implications of science.
