Assembly: Zoos

This assembly resource, from the Association for Science Education (ASE) is based on zoos, and it aims to make students more aware of their need for scientific understanding in the world outside school.

There are three ways in which this resource could be used:

*A headteacher, head of year or science teacher could present the assembly speech.
*Students could use the speech as a stimulus to present their own views on zoos.
*Students could develop the play character profiles into a drama production considering various opinions on the place of zoos in society
