Cystic Fibrosis: Personal Stories

Produced by Nowgen, with support from the Wellcome Trust, this activity contains two video diaries from teenagers who have cystic fibrosis (CF). They help to shed light on the effects of CF and how it influences the lives of those with the condition.

Hannah shows a video animation that she made during a period in hospital. She suffers from CF and talks about how she copes with the disorder. The video illustrates how she is a normal teenage girl, preparing for her GCSE examinations, as well as showing her medication and some of the regular physiotherapy exercises she does.

Caitlin, a 15-year old CF sufferer, describes her regular medication and her daily physiotherapy. She talks about the effects of CF on her everyday life and how she does a lot of the things that a person without CF can do.
