Structure of the Earth: How to Get the Most out of This Topic

This guide supports students following the Geology: Structure of the Earth topic. The topic, produced by Northumberland County Council, is designed to encourage self supported study and students are expected to work their way through independently, developing their study skills. This student guide introduces the topic and explains how each of the units is split into four parts and what is expected of students when working through each section of the units.

The Student map through units in the topic outlines how each of the units fits in with the others and the geological phenomena that are covered. Students are expected to refer to the map at the beginning of each unit studied.
