Let There be Light 1: Investigating Circuits

In this activity, from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), students investigate the photovoltaic effect by manufacturing a simple circuit and integrating it into a product, in this case a version of the popular jitterbug project.

This could form the basis of a design and make assignment project in design and technology, with cross-curricular links with science.
