Using Technology to Improve A Level Performance
Produced by the Learning Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), this case study looks at the theme of harnessing technology. The aim of the project was to inform how technology can help to improve A level results and value added scores at Mid Kent College. It also set out to provide information towards a strategy for further collaborative projects to improve teaching and learning in theory classes for the wider curriculum areas. As a result of the project, students are now able to access materials and revision activities online; teaching staff, by their involvement, have learnt new skills; and mock exam results have shown an increase in pass rates.
