Friction Game - EAL

This resource uses pictures for pupils to identify high and low friction forces and classify them into 'useful' and 'not useful' using a sorting grid.  This activity is designed to take place in groups to improve the speaking and listening skills of the learners. This can then be extended by asking pupils to write about the friction in different movements and how useful they are, by using substitution tables which are differentiated.  There are comprehensive teaching notes containing all the worksheets required.
