Nuffield Secondary Science: Teaching Resources

Most of the publications produced by the Nuffield Secondary Science project were designed to provide ideas for teachers. The detailed guidance was intended to help teachers to plan and implement science courses for the three-quarters of young people in secondary schools that would not take O-level.

The books with teacher guidance were supplemented with visual resources to support teaching. These resources included short film loops, film strips and picture packs. In addition there were two books for students: one about fuels and the other about rocks, minerals and fossils.
